Overview

Systems Enginuity, Inc., founded in 2004, is a small, woman-owned business that specializes in providing safety and systems engineering services for aviation and air traffic control applications. Headquartered in Virginia, Enginuity helps clients analyze, define, and implement solutions for aviation and air traffic control needs. We apply engineering methods and tools, tailored to the specific objectives of each client's project.

Enginuity maintains a successful track record of providing engineering services to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clients. Our engineering staff has breadth and depth of experience with the surveillance, automation, navigation, and telecommunications systems that compose the National Airspace System (NAS) infrastructure. We have supported multiple FAA acquisition efforts, such as:

  • Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B),

  • Airport Surveillance Radar - Model 9 / Mode S (ASR-9 / Mode S)
  • Precision Runway Monitor - Alternative (PRM-A) / Multilateration
  • Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS)
  • Common Automated Radar Terminal System (Common ARTS)
  • En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM)
  • Data Communications
  • Integrated Display Systems for Air Traffic

Our engineers have direct experience as vendors in the design, development, test, and fielding of NAS systems and equipment, including terminal surveillance radars, ADS-B transmitters, weather sensors, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Enginuity's management utilizes "lean initiatives" to deliver services to our clients. By doing so, the most cost-effective mix of personnel, including engineers, project managers, general business administration staff, and subcontractors are tailored to each client and project scope. We value building strong client relationships and take pride in providing exceptional customer service, understanding the importance of accountability, quality, and initiative.

Enginuity keeps up-to-date on developments in the aviation industry and safety and systems engineering professions. We participate in conferences sponsored by RTCA, the International System Safety Society, and the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Enginuity also invests in staff professional development, completing annual training in safety and systems analysis techniques and tools.
